Meet the WhiteHOT Marketing Team – Phil Clouser

First in a series of interviews with the WhiteHOT Marketing, Inc. team

An interview with President and CEO, Phil Clouser, about what’s new at his company and his outlook for 2016:

Q. How has your agency changed over the last several years?

Over the last 18 months, we’ve really stepped up our Digital & Social Division. We now have a dedicated Senior Digital Strategist on board, overseeing digital media buys. We’re using a state-of-the-art product that pinpoints not only the demographic most likely to be open to the client’s marketing message but the individuals within that demographic who are most likely to act on the client’s digital ads. Specifics include the sites they visit on the web, the kind of devices they use to access the web, and which browsers they use, to name just a few. It allows us to serve up digital advertising, both prospecting ads and retargeting ads, geo-targeted by community and by demographic, and develop a custom list of the most viewed sites for that ideal customer. It also provides enhanced tracking ability, even for those who don’t arrive at our client’s website for up to 30 days! It’s a high-end digital strategy that ensures our clients receive the highest possible ROI for their digital advertising dollars.

We’re also very busy designing and developing websites for our business clients. And as much as everyone here at WhiteHOT Marketing takes inspiration from that creative process happening in our midst, as President I’m in the awkward position of having to exercise patience while our own new and improved website remains in the design stage. They tell me it should be only another couple of months, so I’m doing my best not to drum my fingers on the desk while they put the finishing touches to it. But, truthfully, the wait is a small price to pay, knowing our clients’ needs remain at the very top of our priority list.

In addition, our Digital & Social Division is engaged in creating targeted email blasts and managing the social media presence for many of our clients.

Our Interior Merchandising Division continues to grow and expand. We’ve been creating customer-centric sales and leasing centers for many years, which include everything from the furnishings to the lighting, built-ins, configuration, colors, trims, finishes, signage, and more. More recently we’ve branched out into model home makeovers, model merchandising, and creating exciting vignettes to help sell builder inventory homes, a one-stop-shopping concept that is really resonating with our clients.

Q. What are you most excited about in 2016?

WhiteHOT Marketing is the agency of record for two divisions of a Fortune 500 company and “Top 5” ranked US homebuilder. Our continuing partnership with this industry leader is a source of pride for our entire team.

Additional opportunities are on the horizon not only throughout northern, southern, and coastal New Jersey, but also in the mid-Atlantic states. So, as you can probably imagine, we’re all pretty stoked about the New Year. It’s a very exciting time to be a part of the WhiteHOT Marketing team.
